Getting Motivated

Getting into the right mindset and focused on the job of succeeding is a prerequisite of success in what you are trying to achieve.

All the tools and the best tools in the world will be no help to you if you don't have your mind right.  And the first thing to ensure is that you believe you can do it.  Watch this – and be prepared to cry.  I know I do every time I watch it.

Among the greatest characters among the internet marketing community to help in this respect is Stephen Pierce.  I've been following his path for several years now and it has been fascinating to watch the development from traditional internet 'guru' to strategic thinker and analyst.

And along the way to learn and understand that you need to do that strategic thinking and analysis yourself about your own business, no matter how small or inconsequential you think it might be.  (By the way, if you think it is small and inconsequential then that is just the way it is going to stay!  Think big to get big!)

If you haven't seen it then you must – just to open your mind to the possibilities.  Some people go wholeheartedly down this route, others with more of a pinch of salt.
