Making Money with Error Pages
You will find a great post by Aldian Proposko over on his blog on how to use your error pages constructively. Either to make money directly or by diverting your visitors back into the mainstream of your customer process.
Instead of just allowing visitors to fall out of your system if you are careless enough to let your links fail so they end up at one of the 400 pages, you know, Page not Found, Server Error etc, by some forethought and preparation of your error pages you can turn that mistake into something positive.
